Imprisoned three journalists sent to Silivri Prison

İSTANBUL - Imprisoned journalists Ömer Çelik, Tunca Öğreten and Mahir Kanaat were sent from Metris R Type Prison to Silivri L Type Closed Prison.


Closed Dicle News Agency (DİHA) news director Ömer Çelik, Diken newspaper Tunca Öğreten and Birgün Newspaper Account Supervisor Mahir Kanaat had been detained on investigation about news of hacked e-mails of Minister Berat Albayrak on 25 December 2016. Journalists were sent to Silivri L Type Closed Prison from Metris R Type Prison.


According to Mahir Kanaat and Tunca Öğreten's lawyer Ali Deniz Ceylan, Journalists' transfer was realised today.
