DİYARBAKIR – Suspended and imprisoned Mardin Metropolitan Municipality co-mayor Ahmet Türk’s medical report which is convinced Ahmet Türk to release prepared by forensic medicine. HDP group deputy chairperson Ahmet Yıldırım “We have difficulty in understanding why the court doesn’t do what is necessary of the report” said.

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) group deputy chairperson Ahmet Yıldırım made a press statement in front of the Diyarbakır Courthouse after Imprisoned co-mayor Ahmet Türk’s trial. “ Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) main case which Ahmet Türk is judged as well is continuing since eight years.But this building (the courthouse) unfortunately became a building to create a case on every single Kurds’ move, policy or every single serve for people. Even Kurds’ daily life is sued in this building” said Yıldırım.

“Today there was trial of Ahmet Türk who’s white-haired and white-bearded of Kurdish policy. Ahmet Türk is 74-year-old and it is known that he has health problem by public opinion before he was jailed. Ahmet Türk’s medical report which was prepared and expressed Ahmet Turk to be released by forensic medicine and arrived at the court board. Despite express opinion of the forensic medicine, the court doesn’t do what is necessary. We have difficulty in understanding why the court doesn’t do what is necessary. We will come through these hard days. We will never be shame that we were jailed. We are aware of that we are paying the price for social peace” mentioned Yıldırım.
