İZMİR –Representatives of Women Organizations in İzmir said “ We will not leave this country to dictatorships. Secularism flag will be raised from university to streets. Therefore will make a strong ‘No’ campaign for referendum.

Socialist Women Council (SKM) İzmir spokesperson Beritan Altun “ Despite all oppression we will organize a strong campaign on ‘No’. We know that Justice and Development Party (AKP) are concerned because people are not satisfy anymore. Therefore AKP will be more aggressive and they will try to stop our ‘No Campaign’. We as socialist youth women will vote ‘No’ both in Kurdistan and Turkey” said.

“ We also know as socialist women that presidency system will bring more women’s murder and a country where women can’t live any longer. AKP saw women’s power during the State of Emergency. Despite the bans and blockades, women didn’t step back and leave the streets. We stand against dictatorship every time” said Altun.
