ANKARA – KESK co-chair Lami Özgen “ It is wanted to being vote predator by showing ‘normalization’ before referendum. As government claim neither will be relief nor injustice will be investigated” said.

Confederation of Public Employees Trade Unions (KESK) co-chair Lami Özgen made a press statement on “ Surveillance commission of State of Emergency”.

“ The commission is a classic trick of Justice and Development Party (AKP). Because AKP doesn’t have any concern to relief of population. AKP needed to this commission because of referendum propaganda. Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) would vote for an urgent agenda for ‘ Process of Turkey Democracy’. Therefore Turkey decelerated a new Decree with Power of Law to delay the meeting of PACE” mention Özgen.

Özgen also reminded that there are over 100 thousand discharged public officers and added “ Hundreds of associations, foundation universities, newspapers, TVs ,radios, news agencies, publishers, unions’ properties were seized. So how is possible that commission with seven members will investigate 100 case in a day even if half of those people apply for investigation.”
