Nusaybin co-mayors jailed

MARDİN –Co-mayors of Nusaybin Municipality Cengiz Kök and Sara Kaya were jailed after 14 days of detention in Mardin.

12 politicians included co-mayors of Nusaybin Municipality Cengiz Kök and Sara Kaya had been taken into custody in police raids on January 13. Politicians were sent into court on charges of “ Disrupt the unity and territorial integrity of the state”. Co-mayors were jailed by court decision and taken to Mardin E Type Prison.
