Önder : We are not demanding mercy but justice

İSTANBUL – HDP Parliamentarian Sırrı Süreyya Önder made a statement after Ahmet Türk had medical examination. Sırrı reminded that Türk has specially heart and kidney problems due to his age. “ We are not demanding compassion or mercy but justice” said Önder.

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) parliamentarians Pervin Buldan, Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Ağrı co-mayor Sırrı Sakık went to Institution of Forensic Medicine while Mardin co-mayor Ahmet Türk had medical examination.

“ We are expecting justice not only for Mr.Türk but also for all politicians who did what is necessary for politic such as co-mayors, parliamentarians and co-chair. But Ahmet Türk has different situation. He is a wise person of Kurds who spent his whole life for democratic policy and peace. Assaulting Ahmet Türk means assaulting to peoples and hope of peace” said Önder.

Meanwhile Republic People Party (CHP) parliamentarian Sezgin Tanrıkulu also came in front of the Institution and receive the latest information about Türk’s health condition from HDP parliamentarians.
