Trustee appointed to Karakoçan Municipality

ELAZIĞ – Trustee was appointed to Karakoçan Municipality.

Karakoçan district governor Cemil Sarıoğlu was appointed by Interior Ministry’s decree. Karakoçan co-mayors Burhan Kocaman and Cennet Ayık had been jailed on 2 October 2016 and released on 10 January 2017. After co-mayors were prisoned council member of Kayısı Bilici was elected as deputy mayor by council.

It was reported that police raided the city hall and searched the building at this early morning.
