Journalist Ergün not released

ADANA – Closed Azadiya Welat and Özgür Gündem Newspapers wholesaler Hakan Ergün didn’t released on his first hearing in Adana.

Hakan Ergün had been taken into custody and jailed in raids with eight people on August 10. Ergün first trial heard today on claims of “ Propaganda for illegal organization” , “Praising crime and criminal”, “Being member of illegal organization” and “abetting the crime” with other imprisoned seven people and released five people.Giving statement Kurdish language Ergün denied the accusations.

Court board decided to release all imprisoned suspects except wholesaler Hakan Ergün. The trial was delayed on 28 March.
