Journalist faces up to 20 years prison sentence

ELAZIĞ – Closed DİHA reporter Mehmet Güleş who were arrested while he was making report is facing with 20 years prison sentence. Güleş’s news are shown as crime evidences

Accusation of closed Dicle News Agency (DİHA) reporter Mehmet Güleş is accepted by Elazığ Second Heavy Penal Court. Güleş is charged on “Being member of illegal organization” and “propaganda for illegal organization by press channel” and prosecutor demands 20 years prison sentence. Güleş’s news he reported and his news sources are shown as crime evidence.

The trial will be hearing on 3 April 2017
