VAN – Warden of Van T Type Close Prison raided to wings with 20 guards and battered prisoners. Warden also threated prisoners as saying “ I will be your Esat Oktay . I am god of here”

Torture became a routine in just entered into activity Van T Type Closed Prison. Lawyer Barış Oflas said vice warden of prison and 20 guards raided to prisoner’s wings and tortured prisoners at first in front of cameras then in the rooms where cameras don’t exist. After the torture prisoners who exposed to torture were transferred to another prison.

Lawyer Oflas gave details about assault “ It was asked from guards to get ready for raiding by announce On evening of January 23. Then vice warden and 20 guards raided the wings and started to humiliated and battered prisoners. Vice warden also threated prisoner as saying “ I will be your Esat Oktay. Esat Oktay Yıldıran was the runner of Diyarbakır Prison during 1980’ coup while torture implementations were extrem.
