Operation carried out towards HDP and DBP

NEWS BUEROU – At least 80 executives of HDP and DBP were taken into custody in raids in İstanbul,Ağrı and Adana.

Operations were carried out towards executives of Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) in raids at early morning hours. It was reported that at least 58 people were taken into custody in İstanbul and 27 people are still wanted to be taken into custody. Detained 58 people were sent to İstanbul Police Headquarter.

Police raided numbers houses in Adana and took 11 people into custody. Detained executives of HDP and DBP were sent to Police Headquarters.

Also numbers of people included vice co-mayor of Ağrı Municipality were taken into custody by police in Ağrı. It was reported that there are also discharged alderperson of Ağrı Municipality Burhan Taşdemir and many executives of DBP.
