Two Masters of Erbane Left

URFA – Two master of Integrated rhythm instrument with Kurdish culture Erbane left over 100 in Urfa.

Erbane is an important instrument for Kurdish culture as important for Persian culture. Made of be animal leather and lime tree wood erbane also known as Def among Kurdish people. But unfortunately erbane lost its old quality because there is no almost master of it.

Mehmet Karaca is one of two master of erbane says quality of erbane is down because of there are left only two masters over 100 in Urfa.

“ It takes three days to make new erbane. There are heavy demand on erbane but we left only two masters. Because this job didn’t conveyed to youth generation” said Karaca.
