Euphrates Shield Operation finishes

ANKARA – Government spokesperson Numan Kurtulmuş spoke about ongoing “Euphrates Shield Operation”. Kurtulmuş said “ Operation will achieve its goal after Al-Bab will seized “


Vice Prime Minister and government spokesperson Numan Kurtulmuş spokes about the current agendas on a TV programme. Kurtulmuş said “ Euphrates Shield Operation is necessary to protect our borders. Because PYD (Democratic Union Party) and PKK (Kurdistan Worker Party) members cross the border. Therefore this operation was an operation as part of our national security”.


“Syria Problem can’t resolved by only one country. Therefore an alliance is necessary for peace ground. An Astana Negotiation came in the view on this base. Opponents and regime came together around the same table after six years. Do not look Astana Negotiation as alternative of Genève Negotiation. Astana process support Genève process” said Kurtulmuş.
