BATMAN – Schools of 38 thousand and 540 voters in 12 neighborhoods where they would vote for referendum on April 16 were changed without given information. It was reported that those neighborhoods in Batman are stronghold of HDP. Batman parliamentarian of HDP Mehmet Ali Aslan “ It is aimed to confuse people and block people to vote before a few days left to referendum” said.

Ballot boxes in 15 schools were removed to another places from 12 neighborhoods of Batman without any justification. Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) was won 80 percent of votes in these neighborhoods. Election board of Batman who decided to remove ballot boxes didn’t send the decision to the parties. When HDP representatives contacted with the election board, authorities said ‘ We sent the decision to the mukhtars and we don’t have to send the decision to you” to the representatives.

According to HDP data, 38 thousand 540 citizens will vote on these 103 ballot boxes. “ The decision is unlawful. Because voters has no news about removing decision neither to the HDP” said Aslan.
