DİYARBAKIR – A large explosion has struck in a police headquarter in Diyarbakır. Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu stated the blast happened while vehicles were being repaired. But it is also claimed the blast occurred because of ammunition.




The blast occurred at 10.45 a.m. local time of Diyarbakır at a police headquarter and buildings heavily damaged after the explosion. Numbers ambulance and police forces were taken after the explosion. It was also reported that one person is lost their life after the explosion and numbers police were wounded.




Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu made a statement about the incident. Soylu “ The blast happened while vehicles were being repaired by personnel” stated Soylu.




Also governorship of Diyarbakır made a statement. According to written statement, one personnel lost his life while he was sent to hospital for medical treatment and an investigation was launched
