NEWS BUREAU – Prisoners are continuing to participate to indefinite hunger strike without rotation on 59th days. It was reported prisoners in Kalkandere L Type and Menemen T Type began indefinite hunger strike without rotation as well.


Prisoners in Rize-Kalkandere Prison announced that they returned to indefinite hunger strike without rotation from hunger strike with rotation.


Prisoners told family two prisoners in each wing began indefinite hunger strike without rotation until their requests to be accepted. Prisoners also told their families they are exposed to torture and Kurdish books and letter aren’t given to them.



Prisoners in Menemen T Type Closed are on indefinite hunger strike since nine days. According the letter was sent by imprisoned Ömer Akpolat, After oppressions towards prisoners raised, four prisoners began indefinite hunger strike without rotation from April 6. Akpolat also called people to be sensitive.
