ANKARA – Presidency spokesperson İbrahim Kalın “ Turkey is always ready to launch operation towards Iraq and Syria” said. Kalın also spoke about relations with EU and said “ Europe lives abdication of reason recent periods.”

Presidency spokesperson İbrahim Kalın made a press statement on recent agendas.

Kalın stated relations between Turkey and EU may fixed up by visa liberty and added “We see EU always allege as pretexts. If EU accept this conditions, relationship might fixed up”.


“ Turks and Armenians have shared common history and culture for a thousand year. Armenians have important role on economy and policy of Turkey like the past” said Kalın.

Kalın also spoke about referendum result. “ First article of constitutional amendment says president can be member of a politic party. There are numbers example in the world” said Kalın.

Kalın also claimed EU lives abdication of reason recent period. “ What would be happen if we let terrorist organizations attack to Europe? Some European enlightened declares to end of something such as art, politic and history. But for us is just beginning of everything. Therefore they annoyed from referendum result. They couldn’t defeat Erdoğan. We would like to be in relation with EU but relations should be improved on base of trust and profit” said Kalın.

Kalın also spoke about possibility of military operations towards Iraq and Syria. “ If Europe adopts an attitude towards terror organizations, then they should stand with Turkey. We are working intensively on operations towards terrorist organization in Turkey and other countries. We had launched Euphrates Shield Operation in Syria and we cleaned a huge area from terrorists. We already mentioned that an operation ends another one begins. We are always ready for military operations” said Kalın.
