İZMİR – Second Refugee Workshop of Alan Kurdi will be conducted by Peoples’ Bridge Association ( PBA) on April 29-30 in İzmir. It was reported establishing life together , integration policies and citizenship will be topic of the workshop.




The workshop will begin with presentation of Prof. Dr. Cemil Terzi entitled “ Why does PBA demand status of refuge and citizenship?”. It was also reported journalists , lawyers, academicians such as Pakrat Estukyani İrfan Aktan, Doğa Elçin Aydoğan, Serdar Tekin, Doğuş Şimşek, Melda Yaman and Kemal Vural Tarlan will also make presentation.



PBA state why it needed to make a workshop in a press statement. The association chairperson Cem Terzi “ All foreigners included Syrians should have refugee status and should be given citizenship to one who demands. We all know there is no possible for Syrian to back their country. So they are not ‘guest’ anymore.Therefore Government should make a step for refugee to establish a new life all together. We are going to discuss about these problems in Second Workshop of Alan Kurdi. We support Syrians to join a nation and become a citizenship” said in the press conference.
