NEWS BUREAU - DTK co-chair Hatip Dicle said “Erdoğan is a new face of Enver Pasha” and added “ Attacking to Sinjar and Rojava is continuation of genocider mindset.

A panel titled “ Situation of Turkey- Crisis of Presidential System” was conducted by Foundation of Rosa Luxemburg Saarland in Saarbrücken-Germany. Democratic Society Congress (DTK) co-chair Hatip Dicle and feminist activist Sibel Schick attended the panel as speaker.



Dicle pointed out Erdoğan’s approach towards Kurds and Young Turks’ approach towards Armenian are similar. “April 24 is anniversary of Armenian Genocide. Erdoğan attacked to Kurds at this date as saying ‘ I will carry out genocide to Kurds’. In other words Erdoğan declared a new war period against Kurds” said co-chair Dicle.




“ Young Turks left the old ideologies and decided to stick to Turkist ideology. Turkey was established by this ideology and Armenian Genocide was conducted by this ideology. AKP (Justice and Development Party) was established by more democracy and freedom commitments as well. And now Erdoğan wants to target the Kurds who are standing against his power like Enver Pasha targeted Armenian and Assyrians. Erdoğan is new face of Enver Pasha. Attacking to Sinjar and Rojava is obviously declaration of a genocide” said Hatip Dicle.




Dicle also answered a question about referendum. “ Europe should declare that fascist regime was institutionalized in Turkey. Erdoğan is a dictator and Turkey is run by dictatorship. According to OSCE there are two and half million questionable voting” said Dicle.
