URFA – YPG official spokesperson Rédur Xelil describes attacking to Rojava by Turkey as helping DAİŞ and told Rojava should be taken international protecting for being succeed against terrorism. “ We ready both to build friendship and defend our people against attacks” said Xelil.



YPG (Peoples’ Defense Unions) official spokesperson Redur Xelil spoke about last attacks toward Rojava by Turkey. Xelil says bombing a headquarter of YPG means helping DAİŞ ( Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant). “We as part of QSD ( Democratic Syria Forces) surrounded DAİŞ in Raqqa and Turkey supported to DAİŞ by attacking Rojava. Turkey already wanted to destroy Kurds’ gains when DAİŞ was stronger. When DAİŞ failed, Turkey came into play to destroy Kurds’ gains in Syria” said Xelil.




“ No one informed us. We asked the respondent how possible they don’t have such an information. At first they told us ‘ We weren’t informed. We had no news’. Then officially we were told that Turkey informed our partners an hour before attacks. Actually it was hard to protect itself against attack before an hour. Turkey aimed to damage our relationships between our partners against DAİŞ. We have successful relationship with partners against DAİŞ. Turkey wanted to damage it. They want to end the Raqqa Operation or make it slower” said Xelil.



“ Defending our selves is the most natural right under the international law. Turkey says ‘We attacked because we were attacked’. But Turkey is the one who attacked our land. We may not have air forces, but we have power to protect our land and people on earth. Turkish State should know we will response to any attack from now on” said Xelil.



Xelil also said Rojava should be taken under international protecting. “ Protection will make faster our operation towards DAİŞ in Raqqa” mention Xelil.
