NEWS BUREAU – PYD co-chair Salih Muslim said “ We are fighting against both DAİŞ and Turkey. Coalition forces should declare no-fly zone to extinguish Turkey’s threats over Rojava.”

PYD (Democratic Union Party) co-chair Salih Muslim spoke to Firat News Agency (ANF) about attack towards Sinjar and Rojava.

“ It is attention grabbing that Turkey attacks after referendum. Erdoğan wants to show him as sultan. Therefore he is attacking for showing his power. It was known Qereçok was YPG’s( People Defense Unions) headquarter. Sinjar too. Specially hitting to Peshmerga is a message for all Kurds. It was aimed to scare the Kurds. It was also message for Russia and United States (US) : “ I will destroy Kurds”. This was already a plan for Turks. When DAİŞ (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) is in trouble Turkey attacks us. If we look at the last attacks Tabqa was about to be taken from DAİŞ” said Muslim.

People of Rojava wants no-fly zone for Rojava after these aerial attacks and wants to Turkey to withdrawn from Rojava and Syria. Because Turkey attacks people of Syria and Rojava” said Muslim.

Muslim also mentioned relationships with Russia and US are based on agreement they did before. “ We acting with Russian in Afrin against terrorism. Our agreement is continuing. Both Russia and US are against these policies of Turkey. But in anyway we don’t trust completely to anyone. We will make our defense by ourselves. “ said Muslim.
