SİİRT – Dismissed co-mayor of Siirt Municipality Belkıza Beştaş Epözdemir was taken into custody.




Epözdemir was taken into custody by police raids at this early morning in Siirt. It was reported co-mayor Epözdemir was sent to police headquarter of Siirt.




Co-mayors of Siirt Tuncer Bakırhan and Belkıza Beştaş Epözdemir had been dismissed from their position and trustee was appointed by Interior Ministry Decree on November 17 of 2016. Co-mayor Bakırhan were jailed right after he was dismissed by Interior Ministry’s Decree.
