NEWS BUREAU –According to report of freedom of expression and press which was published by TGC, number of imprisoned journalist reach to 159 and 123 journalists are fugitive in other countries.

Freddom of expression and press report which was founded by European Union (EU) was published by Turkis Journalists’ Association (TGC) . According to Cumhuriyet Newspaper reporter Şeyma Paşayiğit’s news, number of imprisoned journalists reached to 159 in Turkey. It was also mentioned 123 journalists had to leave from Turkey due to lack of press freedom.

According to report, 46 more investigations were launched and 20 more cases were opened towards journalists at the first four months of 2017.
