İZMİR – 18 people included HDP executives and YAK-DER İzmir Branch co-chair Zarife Karasungur were taken into custody in İzmir.

Simultaneous operations were conducted towards houses in İzmir at this early morning hours. 18 people were taken into custody in city center, Bayındır, Torbalı and Menemen counties of İzmir. It was reported executives of HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) and co-chair of YAK-DER ( Association of family who lost their relatives) Zarife Karasungur were taken into custody.

It was also reported detained people were sent to police headquarter of İzmir after medical examination.
