ADANA – Eight member of Eğitim-Sen teachers who were discharged by decree were taken into custody in Adana at this early morning hours.




Police raided houses of member of Eğitim-Sen (Education and Science Workers' Union) who were discharged by decree in Adana at this early morning hours. It was reported teachers named Mehmet Selim Süzer, Cumali Duman, Hıdır Karakoç, Adil Akbaba, Nevzat Güzel, Metin Canbolat, Mehmet Dersulu and Serkan Öner were taken into custody after police raids. It was also reported teachers were taken into custody on claim of “being member of DHKP-C” and sent to police headquarter of Adana.




Meanwhile It is expected that a press conference will be conducted by Eğitim-Sen after teachers were taken into custody.
