RAQQA – QSD (Democratic Syrian Forces) is near to take back Azadi Dam which provides electricity of Raqqa. Fighter of QSD Avaraş Efrin “ Assyrians, Arabs, Kurds and Turkmens are fighting shoulder to shoulder against DAİŞ for peoples of Syria.

Operation towards Raqqa is continuing under the name of “Furious of Euphrates”. QSD forces is close to take Azadi Dam which provides electricity of Raqqa City.


A fighter of QSD Siraç Minbiç stated Yamame and Giderén villages which are strategically important to liberate Raqqa and Azadi Dam were liberated by an operation. Minbic “ We can see the city of Raqqa with naked eye. We rescued hundreds civilian from DAİŞ (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) after these two villages were liberated. We will be closer to Raqqa City when we take Azadi Dam from DAİŞ” said.


“Two kilometers left to Azadi Dam. North road to Azadi Dam is under our control right now. We will liberate the Dam in a few days. Victory of Syria’s peoples are continuing. Assyrians, Kurds, Arabs and Turkmens are fighting together against DAİŞ cruelty” said Minbic.
