İSTANBUL –According to report of “ Platform of We will stop to femicide”, 39 women were killed , 38 children were exposed to sexual abuse and 17 women exposed to sexual violence during May. It was also reported closing media outlets and lack of media freedom caused to raise femicide.

Platform of We will stop to Femicide released its May report. According to report number of femicide have reached to 173 for 2017 after May. It was also reported the most cities where women were killed during May are İstanbul (5), İzmir (5), Bursa (3), Gaziantep (3) and Kayseri (3).

According to report, more than 17 women were exposed to sexual violence while 38 children were exposed to sexual abuse. “ Four of those children were exposed sexual abuse for months. A secondary school student abused three girl for months in İstanbul. Also eight family components a stationer to police over he abused a girl”.
