ISTANBUL – Former journalist and CHP lawmaker Enis Berberoglu was sentenced for 25 years on case of “National Intelligence Organization (MIT) of Turkey Truck”.



Fifth trial of “MIT trucks” was heard in Istanbul today. CHP ( Republic People Party) lawmaker Enis Berberoğlu was sentenced for 25 years by Court Decision.



Berberoğlu was executive editor of Hurriyet Newspaper for years and he became member of CHP on 2014 and he was elected as lawmaker of Istanbul on November First of 2015.




Enis Berberoglu had been charged on case of “MIT Trucks” with Cumhuriyet Newspaper journalists Can Dündar and Erdem Gül. Cumhuriyet Newspaper had released a video which had proved that MIT transported weapon to Syria.
