ADANA – Refugee children said they only celebrated people of Ramadan who live in tents and their life pass from farm to tent.


Refugee children passed Ramadan by working in the farm. Syrian children who work on the farm says Ramadan celebration was better than here in their country because they must work here.


A child who doesn’t want to mention his name in Adana “ I am working in Ramadan Celebration too. I worked last year of celebration too” said. Children who are living in tents of Karataş County-Adana are playing marbles at the farm filed during Ramadan Celebration. A child named Mehmet Sinan says “ Ramadan Celebration is not going well in here. There is no Ramadan Celebration atmosphere. We all the time have to work and a little time remain to play” said.


M.Şexo who has been living in tent since five years says he has to spend his time from tent to farm all the time. Another child named H. el Muhammed “ We are working on the farm. Our situation is obvious. We are working on the farm during Ramadan Celebration. After working we will visit other tents for celebrating Ramadan and if we have a little time we will be playing with children” said.
