MERSİN – Saadet Öğretmen Çocuk İstismarı ile Mücadele Derneği ( Association of Educator Saadet Struggle against Child Abuse-UCIM) declared its establishment in Mersin . Association aims to conduct education and awareness raising for children to understand what child abuse is.




UCIM declared its establishment by a press statement in Mersin. Founder of the Association is Saadet Özkan who was teacher in a school of Menderes-İzmir and elicited that headmaster of the school was abusing six children.




It was reported women rights’ lawyer of Mersin Bar, former chairperson of Mersin Bar and a large number of women in Mersin attended the press conference. Özkan told the purpose of establishing the association is awareness raising for children what means child abuse and how to understand by education.
