İZMİR – Lawyer of Zara Koç who is pregnant nine-month and kept into custody since July 3rd in İzmir told requesting transfer her client Koç to hospital due to her pregnancy was denied by prosecution.


13 people included a pregnant woman named Zehra Koç were taken into custody on July 3rd in İzmir and detained people are kept in police headquarter of Anti-Terror Department of Bozyaka-İzmir. It was reported despite Zehra Koç was questioned by police, she isn’t sent into courthouse. Lawyer Nezahat Paşa told “ She needs to walk sometime because birth of child is coming. But she can’t even walk because she is kept in a small cell. Her nourishment needs are provided but health needs aren’t provided. Despite we request she to being sent hospital and kept there, prosecutor denied our request.”
