HAKKARİ – Four rural guards resigned and lay down the arms after civilian Necmettin Fendik was killed by gun fire in Yüksekova County of Hakkari.

Reflection is raising after a civilian named Necmettin Fendik was killed during police raid towards his house in Yüksekova County of Hakkari. It was reported four rural guards in Oremar region resigned from their duties and lay down the arms. It was reported guards sent petition of resignation and their guns to the Military Guardhouse of Dağlıca.

According to local sources a large number of guards are preparing to resign and lay down the arms after civilian Fendik was killed at his house.

Meanwhile despite Fendik was killed six day ago, authorities such as director of police headquarter, district governorship of Yüksekova and Governorship of Hakkari didn’t make any statement about the event.
