DİYARBAKIR – HDP’s spokesperson Osman Baydemir made a statement at the fourth days of ‘Conscience and Justice Watching’ of HDP. Baydemir remarked changing the byelaw which makes forbidden to use ‘Kurds’, ‘Kurdistan’ and ‘Armenian Genocide’. “ If this is a crime, we will keep continue to commit this crime. I swear we will call Kurd to Kurdish people, call Kurdistan to Kurdistan. We will not obey to fascism” said Baydemir.



‘Conscience and Justcie Watching’ of HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) in Ekin Ceren Park of Diyarbakır is continuing since four days. It was reported provinces executives of CHP (Republic and People Party) visited the watching for supporting. It was also reported executives of No destruction Sur Platform and TMMOB (Union of Chamber of Turkish Engineers and Architects) weren’t allowed to enter the park by police. Citizens had reacted to police while they didn’t let executives of TMMOB weren’t allowed to enter the park. HDP’s spokesperson Baydemir and lawmakers had reacted to implementation too.




Spokesperson Baydemir made a statement. “ We send our greets again to ones who seeks justice. AKP (Justice and Development Party) and Erdoğan say ‘Europe are jealous of us’ and ‘we are leader of the world’. There are something they are really leader of the world. They are third in the world about murders of workers. Almost 150 workers lose their life during working because of lack of job security in a month. When it rains in Istanbul, the city becomes Venice” said Baydemir.



Baydemir also reminded Erdoğan’s speech in G20 Summit that he called Demirtaş as ‘terrorist’. “ Lying is not a method that a politician uses. He accused our co-chair as a terrorist. This is a huge lie. Our co-chair Demirtaş responded your claim 18 days ago. He told ‘if you have any prove, show to prosecutors, but if you can’t prove that makes you liar’” said Baydemir.



Baydemir also stated Demirtas’s case would be the best answer of ‘Why is judgement not independent’ question because the trial has not been hearing since November 4th of 2016. “ Because Demirtaş would judge the fascism, the lie and this system at the trial. They didn’t conduct the trial because they afraid of” said Baydemir.




Spokesperson Baydemir also spoke about changed byelaw which makes forbidden to use ‘Kurds’, ‘Kurdistan’ and ‘Armenian Genocide’. “ That means, the most scaring movie of fascism is shoot. Main character of the movie is scaring from his shadow. Therefore we are carrying out this watching. We swear to people that we will keep continue to call Kurds as Kurd, to Kurdistan as Kurdistan. If this is a crime, we will commit this crime. We will not obey to fascism. Obeying to fascism means giving up from humanity” said Baydemir.
