RAQQA – Kendal Qamişlo whose father is co-president of Cizir Canton Abdul Karim Saruxan and who involves Raqqa operation said “This revolution is peoples’ revolution. It doesn’t matter whether you are president, minister or something else. Everyone is equal.”
‘Great War’ which was launched to liberate the Raqqa city by Democratic Syrian Forces (QSD) is continuing since 55 days. Conflicts are continuing violently in the south, east and west fronts of Raqqa against DAİŞ (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant). One of the fighters of QSD is Cizir Canton’s co-president Abdul Karim Saruxan’s son Kendal Qamislo (20).
Qamislo is fighting against DAİŞ in the Deriye Neighborhood of western front of Raqqa. Qamislo also involved operation towards Hol, Shedade, Manbij and Tabqa regions. Also two brothers of Qamishlo are fighting against DAİŞ in different region with QSD. Qamishlo’s father is co-president of Cizir Canton and his mother is an executive in a relief organization in the Canton.
Qamishlo says this land can be liberated with fighting. “ They didn’t only attack to Kobane. They wanted to kill revolution of Rojava and destroy the city. Our single aim was to stop it. We as family are having our position in the revolution” said Qamishlo.
Qamishlo says he was wounded during Tabqa Operation and he involved to Raqqa Operation right after he got better. “ We saved our people at many places from DAİŞ’ darkness. We are not letting down people’s expectations from us.” Said Qamishlo.
Qamislhlo mentions they will have revenge of attacking Rojava by liberating Raqqa from DAİŞ. You can’t see that sons of president or minister are fighting at the wars. Because they are living by only thinking themselves. But we don’t have such a mind in our region. We are fighting both for our land and ourselves. This revolution is peoples’ revolution. It doesn’t matter whether you are president or minister’s son” said Qamishlo.
