URFA – PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan’s siblings Mehmet and Fatma Öcalan are concerned about their borther’s life because of isolation and lockdown. Mehmet Öcalan “ We don’t even know whether he is alive or dead. They need to open the doors of Imrali immediately. Because key of the solution is Imrali” said.

Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) leader Abdullah Öcalan is not visited by his lawyers since July 27 of 2011 , Imrali Committee since April Fifth of 2015 and family since September 11 of 2016 because of isolation. Brother Öcalan says Abdullah Öcalan is the one who has key of the solution for Kurdish Question which will end people to die. “ My brother had told ‘we have some projects that can end the war in six months if state wants to end’. But state didn’t consider Öcalan’s calling” said Mehmet Öcalan.


Brother Öcalan says they didn’t have any news from their brother since September 11 of 2016. “ We don’t know what is going on over there since then. It is not true that some politic environments claim that Öcalan is still meeting with some one. We don’t even know whether Abdullah Öcalan is alive or dead. Family and lawyers have right to see him but it is blocked by government by showing reason of state of Emergency” said Öcalan.

Brother Öcalan emphasized that Abdullah Öcalan is not solution only for peoples’ of Turkey but he is a solution for whole Middle East’s peoples’ future. “ Middle East has became a blood land. There is a chaos. President Öcalan has important role to use this chaos for peoples’ benefit. We are concerned about his life. Abdullah Öcalan has the key of solution of Kurdish Question and democratization of Turkey” says brother Öcalan.

Sister Fatma Öcalan “ We are waiting irritatedly because we have no news about him. He was telling to me that he was annoyed when a young person loses his/her life because of conflict. We also don’t want to anybody else to die because of this war. If negotiation would continue, no one else would die” says sister Öcalan.
