İSTANBUL – Gathered women are marching for March 8 in Bakırköy Square in İstanbul. Women march is continuing by “ Women are revolting with all languages on March 8” carried banners.

Women began to pour along Bakırköy Square in İstanbul for March 8. Members of Free Women Movement (TJA) were taken into custody because of they carried the pictures of HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) imprisoned co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ and assassinated Kurdish politician Sakine Cansız. After a while women were released.

It was also reported that messages from imprisoned HDP co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ and TJA co-chair Ayla Akat Ata will be read to women.
